With the Steez A II TW, DAIWA is bringing a new baitcast reel “Made in Japan” onto the market, which was designed in particular for high loads and higher bait weights. This reel is suitable for bait weights from approx. 7g to over 50g and was also designed for use in saltwater. A Magsealed and 9 CRBB ball bearings and the “washable” construction ensure a long service life and resilience, even with the high demands of sea fishing.
The new Hyperdrive design concept includes a combination of a torsion-proof Hyper Armed housing, which, in conjunction with the Hyperdrive Digigear gear with extra-large teeth in the drive wheel, ensures optimal retrieval force and enormous resilience. The special Hyper Tough Clutch freewheel lever was designed so that it does not flip over unintentionally, even with powerful throws and high weights. The Hyper Double Support on the Pinion gearbox with ball bearings on both sides of the spool ensures better storage and power transmission of the crank to the drive wheel.
The zero adjuster of the mechanical spool brake is preset for optimal casting distances (it is recommended that you do NOT change this setting).
The braking mechanism is designed to be waterproof and the entire reel can be easily cleaned under running, lukewarm water.
